The client provides information technology (IT) services, including business outsourcing, infrastructure technology, and application services.

The application service offered by the company includes application development, maintenance, and support.

The markets served by the company are financial services and insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, government, transportation, communications, and consumer and retail industries.







Salary Range: $120K-$130K/Annum







Job Description:

• As a part of data modelling and entitlements team, you will use the latest technology stack and will have an opportunity to develop and implement new solutions.
  
  


• Being responsible and accountable for gathering and delivery of functional and non-functional requirements in accordance with the Pershing-X standards and timeframe.
  
  


• Review existing business requirements and ensure they contain appropriate design, and architectural components support the deployment of projects.

• Design, implement and manage the SQL queries to be consumed by multiple stakeholders.


• Detect and resolve data quality and integrity issues in the dataset.


• Enhance or create new logical and physical data model to meet business needs, applying data modelling standards and naming conventions.


• Apply data modelling techniques to ensure development and implementation meets performance expectations.


• Test and debug the deliverable code to ensure they function correctly.


• Develop data mapping from existing systems to the new data structures.


• Experience in data migration using the industry standard tools.


• Experience in SQL tuning and optimization using explain plan and trace files.


• Partitioning and indexing strategy for optimal performance


• Must have a good verbal and written communication skill with strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.


• Experience in understanding complex source system data structures preferably in Financial Services


• Ability to work with minimal guidance in a time critical environment.


• Work with business stakeholders and Agile scrum teams on design, definition, documentation, and implementation of features for new applications and data structure

• 5+ years of experience working in different database technologies


• Strong hands-on knowledge of SQL


• Apply data modelling techniques to ensure development and implementation meets performance expectations.


• Run query plans, query tuning and schema refinement.


• Help with database migrations and building database scripts


• Work with change and release management teams


• Experience with CI/CD and Liquibase is a plus


• Experience with cloud platforms (Snowflake) is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• A self-starter, independent thinker with ambition and passion


• Excellent inter-personal, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills


• Takes responsibility for continuous self-learning.


• Takes the lead and make decisions in critical times and tough circumstances.
