Job description

Summary:

The Sr Analyst, Growth & Performance- Small Business, will play a critical role in supporting the strategy and execution of one of ADT’s critical growth business units.

Reporting into the Growth Strategy organization, this role leverages advanced analytics, strategic problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration to uncover customer insights, optimize performance, and inform enterprise growth decisions.

The Senior Analyst partners closely with leaders across Product Management, Sales, Finance, and Marketing to translate complex data into actionable strategies that drive measurable business impact.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Support ADT’s SMB Field Sales and National Sales Center by conducting analyses that uncover customer insights, identify growth opportunities, and improve sales performance.
  • Partner with leaders across Field, Phone, Dealer, Finance, and Marketing to deliver actionable recommendations that drive growth and operational excellence.
  • Explore SMB partnership opportunities with leading SMB vendors and support business development discussions.
  • Translate high-level strategic objectives into structured analyses, business cases, and measurable performance metrics.
  • Perform deep-dive analytics on sales funnel performance, customer behaviors, and operational processes to identify patterns, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop models and frameworks that evaluate sales initiatives, optimize resource allocation, and improve conversion, retention, and upsell performance.
  • Build and maintain executive-ready presentations, dashboards, and reports that clearly communicate insights, recommendations, and business impact.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects by framing problems, analyzing data, and helping structure recommendations to support key growth decisions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, apply smart decisioning methodologies, and embed data-driven approaches into sales and operations.
  • Stay current on analytical tools, emerging methods, and industry best practices to continuously enhance team capabilities.
  • Serve as a thought partner to Sales and Strategy leaders, bringing fact-based perspectives to discussions on growth strategy and business transformation.
  • Collaborate with peers and contribute to the team’s knowledge-sharing, mentoring, and capability-building efforts.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong quantitative mindset and comfort working with numbers.
  • Familiarity with end user facing generative AI tools (., Agentspace, ChatGPT, Copilot) and their practical applications in business analysis, sales enablement, and decision support.
  • Ability to leverage generative AI tools to accelerate data analysis, generate actionable insights, and support business problem solving in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated aptitude with SQL and other database query languages.
  • Ability to use data and analytics to drive business decisions and organizational change.
  • Bias for action, sense of urgency, and willingness to dive into data.
  • Coachable, eager to learn, and open to feedback.
  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred.

    Background in data analytics, mathematics, statistics, or engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in an analytical or strategy-focused role.

    Experience as a strategy consultant, business analyst, or data scientist preferred.
  • Working Conditions:

  • Communication Skills:

  • Writing, talking/hearing on the phone (Regularly=25% of workday).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
  • Location:

  • Our office follows a 4 days onsite and 1 day remote schedule.

  • Occasionally, less than 25%.
