The Senior Azure Cloud Engineer plays a key role in designing, deploying, and managing modern cloud infrastructure within Microsoft environments.
This position is hands-on, client-facing, and focused on enabling secure, efficient, and scalable cloud operations.
Lead deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Azure environments.
Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
Integrate and manage Azure Active Directory with on-premises AD.
Execute cloud migration projectsemail, file shares, and workloadsfrom on-prem or third-party platforms (e.g., GSuite) to Microsoft cloud.
Implement and manage Intune for endpoint and device management.
Develop automation and management scripts using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
Monitor cloud resources, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure high availability.
Collaborate with IT teams to define secure, cost-effective cloud solutions.
8+ years of hands-on experience in cloud computing and infrastructure engineering.
Expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server environments.
Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Azure AD integration.
Proven experience with on-premises to Azure migrations.
Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and workload automation.
Familiarity with Microsoft Hyper-V, Intune, WatchGuard, VPN clients, and Barracuda Cloud Services.
Associates degree in IT or equivalent experience.
Active certifications in Microsoft Azure (Administrator, Solutions Architect, or equivalent).
Additional certifications in AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience implementing security best practices across Azure workloads.
Familiarity with automation tools such as Power Automate or Copilot.
Strong communication and documentation abilities.
Proven leadership in technical project delivery.
Customer-first mindset and ability to manage client relationships effectively.
