Description:

Sr. Database Administrator - Postgres (Primary) and MySQL / Oracle Database (Secondary).

Sr. Database Administrator with 10+ years' experience supporting large scale or enterprise level database services.

Support for 24x7 production database environment.

After-hours call in support is necessary when scheduled.

• 10 + years experience administering to, and engineering solutions with Postgres, and MySQL & Oracle's database (10 - current).
  
  Extensive experience with database design, as well as, the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning.
• Experience with the production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & recovery - desired
• Experience with Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard and / or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration - desired
• BS in CS or related course of study, or equivalent year's experience.
• Must be an independent worker with strong communications skills.

Qualifications:

• 10 + years experience administering to, and engineering solutions with Postgres, and MySQL & Oracle's database (10 - current).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  
  In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional four (4) years of work-related experience may be substituted.
