**General Summary:**

Unum Group seeks Sr. Digital Analytics Engineers in Columbia, SC.

+ Lead Digital Analytics projects, influencing and shaping the user experience through data, optimizing the customers journey, channel performance, and improving KPIs.
+ Develop best practices, standards, and innovative solutions to support team growth and resolve complex issues while maintaining a high level of accuracy and flexibility.
+ Mentor Digital Analytics Engineer I’s and II’s in Digital Analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) best practices, ensuring appropriate standards and best practices are met.
+ Design a holistic reporting strategy across all channels (digital or traditional) that delivers clear, concise, and reliable reporting on key activities to Product Owners and DTO’s Leadership team.
+ Collaborate with business partners, architects, and engineers to gather requirements and specifications to identify KPIs and metrics to drive organizational growth.
+ Query, cleanse, and manipulate complex data originating from disparate locations.

Transform raw data into easily digestible information.
+ Design and develop actionable Business Intelligence reports and dashboards, analyzing user behaviors and product trends to provide meaningful insights to the organization.
+ Create and communicate executive level presentations, demonstrating a strong understanding of both technical and business complexities.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, Statistics, or related field plus 5 years of related experience.

Requires 5 years of experience with the following: Digital Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Analysis; Digital Analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Amplitude; Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or Qlik, and Cloud Data Warehouses such as BigQuery or Snowflake; On-premise and cloud data warehouses; SQL skills and understanding of ETL techniques; Working with complex datasets, stitching data across multiple data sources, and data prepping/data cleansing; Influencing executive sponsors and explaining complex data solutions simply to drive project results; Efficiently managing multiple projects simultaneously; Ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards; Coordinating cross-functional teams and resources.

Telecommuting is permitted.

40 hours/week; $116,000 - $136,000 per year.

This wage range supersedes the base salary range listed below, due to the salary range below reflecting a national range.

The base salary range for applicants for this position is listed below.

Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience.

$89,400.00-$183,500.00

Additionally, Unum offers a portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and comprehensive including healthcare benefits (health, vision, dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability), performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional 4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not.
