**Summary**

We’re looking for a **Senior Director of Technical Strategy & AI Infrastructure Solutions** — a hybrid leader who combines deep technical fluency with broad business acumen to drive growth across design, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain innovation.

This role bridges the technical and the strategic — serving as the “customer advocate” for complex Joint Design Manufacturing (JDM), Original Design Manufacturing (ODM), and Engineering Manufacturing Services (EMS) engagements.

You will engage customers at a mile-wide level — understanding their architectures, product roadmaps, and ecosystem strategies — while orchestrating Celestica’s global capabilities to go a mile deep in execution.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Strategic Technical Leadership**

+ Define and lead the technical vision for major hyperscale and AI/ML infrastructure programs, influencing design, system architecture, and technology investment decisions.
+ Translate emerging workloads (AI/ML, GenAI, Edge, Cloud Infrastructure) into manufacturable, scalable, and cost-efficient system designs.
+ Serve as the primary executive-level technical voice with customers, shaping strategy from concept to deployment.

**Cross-Functional Business Orchestration**

+ Operate as a “GM-like” business owner across engineering, design, manufacturing, supply chain, vendor management, and customer engagement.
+ Build and lead virtual cross-functional teams across geographies to deliver integrated solutions spanning hardware, mechanical, and electrical design through volume production.
+ Partner with Business Development, Operations, and Finance to align technology investments with margin, schedule, and scalability goals.

**Commercial & Customer Growth**

+ Drive the technical commercialization of customer programs — aligning Celestica’s solution roadmap with customers’ long-term infrastructure strategies.
+ Engage in high-impact pre-RFP and architecture-influencing discussions to shape design wins.
+ Partner with executives on contract structuring, cost modeling, and total solution differentiation for JDM and ODM opportunities.

**Innovation & Ecosystem Enablement**

+ Champion emerging technologies across AI server platforms, high-density storage, immersion cooling, networking, and interconnects.
+ Develop partnerships with silicon, component, and technology ecosystem players to accelerate new solution introductions.
+ Foster innovation internally — mentoring engineering and program teams to think systemically and commercially.

**Qualifications & Experience**

+ 15+ years in technical leadership across enterprise or cloud infrastructure, ideally in a hybrid JDM/ODM/EMS environment.
+ Proven track record driving large-scale hardware programs (server, storage, networking, or AI platforms) from design concept through mass production.
+ Deep technical fluency across hardware architecture, thermal/mechanical systems, PCB/BIOS, and manufacturing processes.
+ Demonstrated success influencing customers at the CxO or SVP level and aligning technical execution with business outcomes.
+ Experience owning or influencing P&L, cost structure, and commercial strategy for major accounts or product lines.
+ Strong understanding of AI/ML workloads and their implications for data center and system design.
+ Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills — able to operate fluidly between engineering and executive forums.

**Physical Demands**

+ Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
+ Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
+ Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
+ Above demands are carried out within the local existing Health and Safety guidelines

**Typical Education**

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline; MBA or equivalent business training preferred.

Salary Range

The salary range described in this posting is an estimate by the Company, and may change based on several factors, including by not limited to a change in the duties covered by the job posting, or the credentials, experience or geographic jurisdiction of the successful candidate.

$210,000-280,000 USD/year

Location: This is a remote position, with travel as necessary.
