Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly effective candidate to identify, create, develop and integrate innovative technology to deliver the best operating, lowest cost infrastructure in the world.

This individual will lead the sourcing of integrated circuits and other sub-components for our server platforms to meet our customers' rapidly growing infrastructure needs.

Successful candidates will bring strong knowledge of semiconductor supply chains and proven ability to manage complex negotiations, program manage cross-functional teams, and effectively operate at any level of the organization (up to senior executives).

Key job responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and implement cable and connector sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure.

Understand interconnect industry and technology trends.

Identify key technology trends in the industry and drive supplier product roadmaps and execute on strategic initiatives in those products.

Negotiate and implement complex supplier agreements and contracts by working with cross-functional stakeholders.

Develop negotiations strategies to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationship with suppliers.

Responsible to provide weekly core-team updates, deliver executive level updates on a monthly basis, and will be responsible for vendor escalations in order to resolve any issues related to his/her category.

Present to senior leadership via written narratives.

The AIS Supply Chain Automation team is at the forefront of revolutionizing how AWS delivers cloud infrastructure at global scale.

Our mission is to transform traditional supply chain operations through innovative automation solutions, enabling AWS to meet the ever-growing demands of cloud computing with unprecedented speed and reliability.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience in Electronics Sourcing or Procurement
- Experience with managing or developing Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
- Experienced with Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA), Server Integration, Server Architecture, or related Electronics Assemblies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company.
