POSITION SUMMARY
Northern New Mexico Integrated Security, located in beautiful northern New Mexico, provides a professional, highly trained protective force that safely secures special nuclear material, people and other critical assets for the Department of Energy, the National Nuclear Security Administration, and the Los Alamos National Laboratory.

The Senior Instructor assists the Training Manager in the administration of the training program and acts as the supervisor for assigned Range Instructors/Safety Officers.
Assists in the development and implementation of the N2MIS Annual Training Plan.
The Sr. Instructor analyzes, designs, develops, implements and evaluates training, including live-fire activities.
Develops and implements training programs for the Center for Emergency Planning and Analysis (CEPA) facility for Protective Force external customers.
Develops and implements training programs that integrate CEPA facilities and engagement simulations to improve protective force emergency response and facility protection skills.
Ensures work is executed in accordance with Integrated Safety Management (ISM) and Integrated Safeguards and Security Management (ISSM) principles.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in an office setting and in the field in various conditions, including inclement weather.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical demands of this position vary from situation to situation and include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for up to 8 hours per day.
Must have visual acuity to make general observations of facilities, structures or personnel.
May be subject to hazards including firearms and moving vehicles.
Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
Must meet all physical and psychological standards required by the contract.
