Essential Responsibilities:
Lead complex data science projects, ensuring they meet business objectives and deliver actionable insights.Develop advanced data models and algorithms to analyze large datasets and solve complex business problems.Collaborate with senior leadership to identify data-driven opportunities for business growth and efficiency.Implement best practices for data management, analysis, and visualization.Ensure data governance and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Provide mentorship and technical guidance to the data science team.Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Previous management experiencePreferred Qualification:
Provide technical leadership and guidance to teams of data science with focus on Fraud and Credit Risk Management in the SMB space, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Establish outcomes and key results (OKRs) and successfully deliver them.
Drive improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs).
Increase the productivity and velocity of delivery teams.
As well as conceptual knowledge on the concept of portfolio management with experience in credit card or deposit risk experience from financial institutions.
Focus on developing policy/strategies leveraging analytical insights.
Develop, plan, and execute SMB Risk Management roadmaps that bring value and quality to our customers.
Collaborate and coordinate across teams and functions to ensure technical, product, and business objectives are met.
Instill end-to-end ownership of development of strategies, execution of the strategies, and monitoring with continuous improvement by working with cross functional teams in Risk Products, Business Unit leaders, SMB Products, Fraud Risk Management, and Decision Science teams.
Having experience in a Fintech working with Product and Engineering organization is a plus
Proven track record in driving positive outcomes between risk management and business leaders
Excellent project management skills, well organized, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure
A high level of intellectual, professional, and interpersonal agility/flexibility, combined with strong analytical/problem-solving skills
Strong ability to inspire/foster an inclusive/diverse culture
Demonstrated ability to build/maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including strengths in influencing, conflict management, and negotiation
Strong communication skills in explaining complex matters in a simple and clear manner
Experience in partnering with senior business stakeholders, particularly in the context of a rapidly evolving environment
