  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute a long-term strategic plan for Sterile Processing, focusing on technology adoption, process automation, and facility modernization.

  • Budget & Fiscal Management: Take full ownership of the departmental operating and capital budgets.

Apply your analytical skills to manage expenses, optimize resource allocation, and drive cost-saving efficiencies while maintaining premium quality.

  • Quality & Compliance: Serve as the subject matter expert and compliance officer, ensuring strict adherence to all regulatory standards (AAMI, AORN, TJC, CMS, etc.) and leading continuous performance improvement initiatives.

  • People and Culture Development

  • Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and empower a high-performing SPD leadership team and staff.

Implement robust training, competency validation, and career development pathways.

  • Collaboration: Build strong, trust-based relationships with physicians, surgeons, OR nurses, and materials management to enhance communication, resolve issues proactively, and foster a collaborative Perioperative environment.
