Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a **Sr. Principal Sr. Principal Engineering Integration and Execution (EI&E) Integration and Infrastructure (I&I) Lead** to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future.
This position will be located in **Melbourne, FL.**
The Engineering Integration and Execution (EI&E) Integration and Infrastructure(I&I) Lead is responsible for supporting Agile teams in providing effective mission system solutions.
The I&I Lead will engage with various stakeholders in establishing the IPT deliverables and the Definition of Done parameters.
The RTE will provide oversight to the portfolio teams while completing tasks alongside team members during peak times in aligning with schedule milestones.
This position pushes innovation, redefines engineering capabilities, and drives advances within a diverse team of individuals.
Candidate will interface with a matrixed, cross-sector geographically dispersed team and provide status updates within the team & leadership on a regular basis.
The Integration and Infrastructure(I&I) Lead tasks include, but are not limited to:
+ Supporting the EI&E Avionics and Software Director and PEM leads with managing horizontal integration and infrastructure across the program.
This is inclusive of discipline metrics development and maintenance.
+ Responsibility for Avionics and Software tools and training and primary liaison for these enablers between discipline, program, and enterprise organizations and other relevant stakeholders
+ Serving as the disciplines’ primary interface to the Digital Engineering Ecosystem (DEE)
+ Responsibility for EI&E Avionics and Software organization Agile execution
+ Supporting Avionics and Software front line managers and technical leads with program onboarding of discipline personnel
+ Monitoring the development and implementation of new capabilities and features that enhance the tenets of horizontal integration
+ The successful Integration and Infrastructure(I&I) Lead will contribute to the EI&E organization through:
+ Collaboration: Collaborate across teams to identify, assess, establish and maintain horizontal integration and infrastructure elements
+ Leadership: Responsibility for enabling discipline performance across multiple pillars/IPTs
+ Technical proficiency: Applied knowledge of Agile methodology and Scrum concepts.
+ Analytical thinking: Use analytical thinking skills to solve complex problems within processes and help their teams minimize risks.
+ Business acumen: Good understanding of the program and discipline objectives in which you operate and be able to align goals with business objectives.
+ Problem-solving and decision-making: Use problem-solving and data-driven approaches to identify and resolve issues and make informed decisions that align with the goals of the team.
**Basic Qualifications:**
**Sr. Principal Engineering Integration and Execution (EI&E) Integration and Infrastructure (I&I) Lead (T04):**
+ Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 9 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 7 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.D. AND 4 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering.
+ Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.
+ Knowledge and experience in Agile process execution
+ Familiarity with Atlassian collaboration tool set (Jira, Confluence, Fisheye, Crucible)
+ Experience designing, developing, integrating, and/or testing hardware and/or software for mission or flight avionics systems for airborne platforms.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well in a close team environment
+ Experience engaging directly with internal and external technical and programmatic representatives
+ Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills
+ Demonstrated ability to assimilate new concepts quickly and independently and work in a self-directed manner
+ Knowledge of system engineering design methods, including requirements analysis and flow-down, specification derivation and interface control documentation
+ Experience leading/guiding teams through product definition and implementation
+ Experience in model based systems engineering using Cameo or similar SysML tools
+ Experience in supplier/subcontract management

Primary Level Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
