The pay range is $71,000.00 - $128,000.00

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position.

These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications.

We’re looking for a strategic, creative-minded Lead Creative Technology Enablement Partner to enable creative teams through the integration and adoption of future-forward technology and tooling.

Sitting within the Creative Strategy & Innovation team, this role is focused on translating emerging capabilities into tangible, in-context practices that elevate storytelling, design, and production across our ecosystem.

This role is deeply rooted in empathy and connection.

The success of creative technology enablement depends on trust, understanding, and communication — not just process.

You'll lead with curiosity and respect for how creative teams work today, and help design the path to how they could work tomorrow.

Whether it’s demystifying GenAI, piloting a 3D mockup builder, or creating an Adobe plugin to accelerate concepting, you’ll bring clarity, confidence, and creative fluency into every interaction.

While you’ll work closely with partners across Marketing Capabilities, Product, and Engineering, this role does not own platform sourcing, governance, or enterprise compliance.

Instead, your mission is to activate possibility for creatives and accelerate adoption through hands-on experimentation, thoughtful listening, and change enablement rooted in real creative needs.

**Core Responsibilities**

+ **Cross-Functional Partnerships:** Establish strong, collaborative relationships across Creative and Marketing Capabilities.

Leverage other teams within the organization to advance Creative objectives.

Promote and model key Target behaviors.

Work within Target Creative identify areas where technology can enhance creative speed, quality, and impact.
+ **Requirement Gathering & Collaboration.** Engage in active discovery with stakeholders, capturing creative use cases and defining requirements that inform pilots and prototypes.

Ensure updates and progress are communicated back to teams to maintain transparency and momentum.
+ **Technical-Creative Problem Solving.** Translate creative ambitions and challenges into actionable technical opportunities.

Rapidly design, prototype, and test tools and processes that directly improve creative ideation, production, and storytelling.

Leverage research, user feedback, and cultural insights to drive iteration.
+ **Change Agent** .

Champion creative-first change management by introducing new tools and workflows through hands-on demonstrations, in-context examples, and accessible training.

Build trust and excitement around new capabilities by showing their direct impact on creative work, not just operational efficiency.
+ **Process & Governance Development** .

Define and document repeatable processes for piloting, refining, and integrating creative technologies into everyday practice.

Create playbooks and best practice guides.
+ **Capability & Tooling Optimization.** Adapt and refine enterprise or marketing tools for creative application.

Conduct in-context testing with creative teams, incorporate feedback, and recommend refinements before enterprise-scale adoption.
+ **Training & Resource Development.** Design and deliver prompt libraries,and quick-reference guides that empower creatives to confidently adopt and adapt new technologies.

**About You**

+ Four-year degree or equivalent experience
+ 4+ years in creative technology, design technology, creative production, or related enablement roles
+ Experience prototyping tools that enhance storytelling and design
+ Proficiency with creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Unity/Unreal, GenAI platforms (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, OpenAI)
+ Understanding of creative team structures, workflows, and production pipelines
+ Proven ability to influence and collaborate across disciplines
+ Exceptional communication skills, with an empathetic and collaborative approach
+ Strong project management skills
+ Comfortable working at the intersection of creativity, technology, and process

**Key Distinctions from Similar Roles**

+ Not a Product Manager – Does not own product roadmaps, enterprise backlog, or vendor/platform governance.
+ Not an Engineer – Focuses on prototyping, adoption, and creative enablement rather than building enterprise systems.
+ Creative-First – Solutions are designed to elevate creative craft, speed, and innovation within Target Creative.
+ Hands-On – Brings emerging tools and workflows to life through in-context pilots and creative experimentation.

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs.

A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.

Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
