What You Will Do

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager (Contract) to lead a critical, high-visibility initiative within the Commercial Applications team of our global pharmaceutical client.

This project is part of a post-merger consolidation effort between CSL and Vifor, focused on assessing commercial applications across two environments, identifying overlaps and gaps, and driving integration and decommissioning plans.

You will work directly with two product owners and report to the portfolio manager, playing a pivotal role in standing up the project structure, managing timelines, and ensuring effective governance and reporting.



Job Responsibilities

" Stand up and manage initial project plans, including timelines, dependencies, and decommissioning tasks.

" Coordinate and manage workstreams across two product owners.

" Establish project governance, reporting structures, and documentation processes.

" Track and communicate status, risks, issues, and metrics; report via Clarity or similar PPM tool.

" Maintain Teams channels and ensure documents are organized in the correct repositories.

" Support application consolidation activities: assess overlaps, gaps, and integration/decommissioning options.

" Leverage Power BI proficiency to navigate, pull, and assess data in support of reporting and decision-making.

" Provide transparent communication call out risks/issues early ( "red or yellow ) and propose solutions.

" Adapt and operate effectively amid ongoing organizational and technical changes tied to broader reorganization and TechMod transformation efforts.



Qualifications

" Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in complex, high-visibility initiatives within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.

" Strong background in portfolio and project management, including standing up new projects from initiation through execution.

" Must have hands-on experience with Clarity (or similar PPM tool) for tracking and reporting.

" Proficiency in Power BI for data navigation and analysis.

" Exceptional communication skills: ability to report clearly, escalate risks transparently, and build trust with stakeholders.

" Team-first, solution-oriented, and proactive mindset.

" Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities, organizational changes, and evolving technical environments.

" PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or other project management certifications preferred but not required.

" US-based, aligned to Eastern Standard Time (EST); remote engagement with potential for limited onsite collaboration if needed.
