Job description

We are seeking a **_Sr. Research Project Coordinat_** or who will oversee the day-to-day activities of a single complex or multiple research projects and makes independent decisions that impact the conduct of the research.

Assists in goal setting and creating implementation plans.

Contributes to budget formulation, communications, and data systems.

**Specific Duties and Responsibilities**

+ Assist Principal Investigator or more senior research staff to ensure operational feasibility of proposed protocol/study design.
+ Develop standard operating procedures and data collection forms based on understanding of underlying study design.
+ Develop or oversee design and implementation of study procedures and tools for data collection, e.g. participant interviews, administer questionnaires; background research, laboratory processing, etc.
+ Ensure compliance with all protocols, procedures, and applicable regulations.
+ Participate in developing study budget.
+ Set up data collection system and ensure validity of study data.
+ Organize and quality control study data
+ Recommend and implement changes to protocol operations based on results and goals.
+ Conduct literature searches to provide background information.
+ Abstract and index information based on knowledge of subject matter.
+ Perform other related duties as requested.

_Supplemental Information_

+ This position is for a one-year term and may be extended contingent upon the availability of funds.
+ Responsible for the overall planning and execution of the technical reviews and other major event planning.
+ Manages required financial reporting through the university’s financial system SAP.
+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's Degree in related discipline
+ Three years related experience
+ Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Master's Degree in a related field.

Starting Salary Range: $41,300 - $72,300 Annually ( Commensurate w/exp.)
Employee group: Full Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Personnel area: Whiting School of Engineering
The listed salary range represents the minimum and maximum Johns Hopkins University offers for this position, based on a good faith estimate at the time of posting.

Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as location, skills, experience, market conditions, education, and internal equity.

Not all candidates will qualify for the highest salary in the range.
