Summary

:

We are currently implementing an integrated risk management (IRM) and business continuity management (BCM) modules from ServiceNow which lends us to have an exciting opportunity for an consultant to augment our global ERM operational team.

This is a six-month consulting engagement, with possibility of an extension.

This individual will support a varied and dynamic range of initiatives within the department which span all company segments including insurance, reinsurance, investments, and finance on a worldwide basis.

The successful candidate will possess relevant industry experience, excellent organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, initiative, attention to detail, and intellectual curiosity.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the department’s implementation of a new Integrated Risk Management (IRM) software module from ServiceNow.

    This would include:
  • Lead sessions with the business to identify and assess risks
  • Work with the ERM team to implement IRM additional functionality (link with control’s module, Events reporting, etc.)
  • Develop visual aids, conduct training, and create “How to” videos and documentation on the use of this module
  • Produce various types of risk related reports
  • Provide IRM training sessions
  • Collaborate in entering/updating risks into the IRM application
  • Create an IRM resource page on our Intranet site
  • Assist with the department’s implementation of a new Business Continuity Management (BCM) software module from ServiceNow.

    This would include:

  • Assist operational areas draft and maintain their business continuity plans (BCPs), maintaining the company critical applications and services list
  • Assist with periodic testing of BCPs, and help maintaining the system information current
  • Guide the business functions in conducting their business impact analysis (BIAs) for their key processes
  • Develop visual aids, conduct training, and create “How to” videos and documentation on the use of this module
  • Produce various types of BCM related reports
  • Provide BCM training sessions as needed
  • Assist with preparation of company Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) reports and oversight of other regulatory compliance requirements
  • Work on other special projects as needed
  • Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of direct insurance/reinsurance industry experience
  • A minimum of 2 years working with IRM and BCM ServiceNow modules
  • Risk management background required
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Ability to guide presentations, tutorials, and training sessions, with excellent communications skills
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work within deadlines and manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Highly organized, reliable, analytical, and detail-oriented, inquisitive, and solution-oriented attitude
  • Minimal travel required
