Job Title: Sr. Supply Chain Manager

Company Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Sr. Supply Chain Manager for a leading manufacturing company in the aerospace and defense sector.

Their facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma, specializes in cutting-edge circuit boards aimed at both aerospace and defense applications.



Position Summary:

As the Sr. Supply Chain Manager, you will take on a crucial leadership position, acting as a key member of the local senior operations leadership team.

Your primary focus will be to design and execute a robust supply chain infrastructure that drives operational excellence and delivers exceptional value.

You will oversee all aspects of the supply chain for the site and lead a high-performance team of 4-5 buyers, aligning the supply chain strategy with the company's overall objectives.



Key Responsibilities:

+ Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain vision, leading all planning, execution, and improvement efforts for related business processes.



+ Manage site supply inventory and collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance the procurement of materials, equipment, and services.



+ Optimize cross-site processes to increase efficiency and standardization across all operations.



+ Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing supply chain team including their selection, training, and performance feedback.



+ Oversee the annual procurement budget, ensuring alignment with corporate goals while strategically planning for cost savings.



+ Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships, conducting evaluations and selections to ensure quality and reliability.



+ Create and manage site-specific metrics to assess and improve supply chain performance, providing regular updates to leadership.



+ Identify and promote IT solutions that enhance supply chain management and facilitate cost efficiencies.



+ Engage in Strategic Supply Chain initiatives, focusing on supplier development and proposal strategies to secure contract awards.



Required Skills and Qualifications:

+ Demonstrated experience in quality systems, lean processes, and state-of-the-art supply chain practices.



+ Strong expertise in ERP and MRP systems is essential.



+ Proven track record of building and developing high-performance supply chain teams.



+ Preferred experience in commodity management and logistics related to operations/materials management.



+ ISM or APICS certification is highly desirable.



+ Willingness to travel, which may be up to 25-30% as required.

Education and Experience:

+ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.



+ A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.



+ A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive supply chain leadership experience specifically in the aerospace and defense industry.
