We are seeking a very talented and motivated Full Stack Software Developer to join our energetic team.

Financial domain knowledge is preferred, but more importantly drive to build great software and bring delightful digital experience to our customers.

This is an opportunity to immerse you in the latest Java, Angular, Cloud, and JavaScript frameworks and tools that are relevant to Digital.

This individual is responsible for leveraging technology to enable the organization's future-state business capabilities, which can enable or alter business processes or practices that, in turn, drive the organization's targeted business outcomes.

Senior Full Stack Software Developers must be capable of practically applying existing, new, and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models.

Conversely, they must be able to understand, and operationalize new technologies.

The individual in this role develops deliverables that are valuable to the business, including business capabilities, business requirements and workflow.

• Design and build new software tools and systems on the Azure and Private Cloud.
• Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of software development and system engineering practices.
• Perform comprehensive TDD, integration and scale testing of all software produced.
• Work with existing users to provide education and resolution of issues.
• Integrate new technologies and systems into existing infrastructure.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis of problematic datasets to help resolve issues encountered by users.
• Participate in group design and code reviews.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience:

• MS or equivalent in Computer Science is preferred.
• 5 years of experience building feature-rich customer-facing applications.
• 5 years of experience building feature-rich customer-facing web applications.
• Experience with building applications in Azure is preferred.
• Practical experience with Java 8, OOP and Design Patterns.
• Experience with Spring Security and Oauth2.
• Experience with Cloud, Cloud Foundry, Docker and Containers.
• Experience with front-end technologies including Angular2, JavaScript, Polymer, HTML, and CSS.
• Hybrid Mobile development experience is a plus.
• Experience with XML and REST/JSON technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Junit and other TDD tools.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues.
• Good understanding of SCRUM/agile methodology.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Financial Services Industry experience is a plus.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

• Exposure to Java frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot is a plus.
• Hybrid Mobile development experience is a plus.
• Understanding of Dev-Ops and experience is a plus.
• Cloud/Pivotal and/or RedHat OpenShift platform experience is a plus.
• Financial Services Industry experience is a plus.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed.

In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$84,930 - $141,560 USD
