Job description

Our client, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer to join their team.

As a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Cloud Operations Department, supporting client infrastructure and internal teams.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align well with the organization's needs.

**Job Title:** **SRE / Azure Cloud Engineer - GA (ONLY W2)**

**Location: Alpharetta, GA**

**Pay Range:** **$55-60 per hour**

**What's the Job?**

+ Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Azure environments, providing guidance and support for cloud infrastructure.
+ Manage the lifecycle of IaaS virtual machines, including troubleshooting, backup, restore, imaging, resizing, and scaling.
+ Utilize CICD tools such as Harness and Octopus Deploy to streamline deployment processes.
+ Configure and maintain Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and write Kusto Query Language queries for diagnostics.
+ Build and manage applications in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and serve as an escalation point for complex Azure issues.

**What's Needed?**

+ Minimum of 4 years of experience working with the Azure platform.
+ Hands-on experience with Azure data migration tools and cloud management.
+ Proficiency with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python, and familiarity with ARM templates.
+ Knowledge of Azure security features, including Azure AD, RBAC, Key Vault, and Azure Policy.
+ Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, AKS, and container management is preferred.
