The Microelectronics, Design, and Applications (MDA) organization is seeking a **Staff Factory Change Control Board Engineer** to join our team and pioneer new approaches, design and implement technologies for a computer integrated manufacturing system.
You’ll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, design engineers, and superconducting foundry engineers to make these technologies a reality.
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking a **Staff Factory Change Control Board Systems Engineer** .
This position is located at the **Linthicum, MD** location.
**What You’ll get to Do:**
+ Develop and implement a change control and execution procedure for a semiconductor manufacturing line
+ Collaborate with statisticians, process engineers, integration engineers and equipment engineers to evaluate changes to the manufacturing line
+ Support definition of system requirements for use in evaluating COTS product lifecycle management software
+ Assist in developing and implementing FMEA process
+ Oversee the change evaluation and implementation process
**Basic Qualifications for Staff Factory Change Control Board Systems Engineer:**
+ A degree in a STEM area (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with a minimum of 12 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 10 years of experience with a master’s degree, or 8 years of experience with a PhD.
+ Subject Matter Expert in semiconductor manufacturing, device physics, or semiconductor failure analysis.
+ Able to support execution of Statement of Work (SOW) components with vendors and work cross team
+ Experience in high volume automated manufacturing microelectronics or semiconductor fabs
+ Experience working with FMEAs, PLM, QMS, and Document Management Software
+ Experience with supplier engagement and facilitation of supplier development and risk reduction activities
+ Must be willing to work on site 100% of time
+ Limited travel to local Northrop Grumman facilities may be required
+ This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance per business requirements.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Active US government security clearance per business requirements
+ Strong understanding of FMEA and Change Management systems.
+ Experience developing new FMEA processes and implementing change based on RPN scoring.
+ Has worked with Applied Materials SmartFactory Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) solution.
+ Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software tools, i.e. Atlassian tools stack - Jira, Confluence.
Primary Level Salary Range: $163,200.00 - $244,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
