Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW

MCI is hiring friendly and reliable Stock Clerks to assist in several client locations.

In this role, you will answer customers' questions about product availability while stocking shelves, coolers, displays, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise.

The right candidate for this position is a team player with excellent customer service skills.

As a part of the team, you'll work to ensure the store is kept clean and well-stocked and every customer is given world-class service.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer customers' questions about merchandise and advise customers on selection.
  • Observe scheduled shift hours as assigned by the store manager or assistant manager.
  • Give all customers friendly, courteous, and prompt service.
  • Stock shelves, coolers, displays, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise and maintain them by keeping them full and fronted at all times.
  • Receive, open, unpack, and issue sales floor merchandise.
  • Properly clean and maintain display cases, shelves, equipment, and aisles.
  • Compare merchandise invoices to items actually received to ensure that shipments are correct.
  • Discuss problems concerning the stock with the store manager or assistant manager.
  • Perform specific tasks as assigned by the store manager and or assistant manager.

  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    This job operates in a fast pace, retail environment.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee expected to lift, balance, and carry merchandise weighing up to 40 pounds as well as stand and walk continually throughout an eight-hour shift.

    CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Must be authorized to work in their country of residence (The United States or Canada)
  • Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint.
