HOW A STORAGE ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting database backups
● Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues related to NetApp and Commvault systems
● Develop and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, best practices, and standard operating procedures
● Mentor and train other support engineers in the team, sharing knowledge and best practices
● Stay current with the latest NetApp technologies, best practices, and certifications
● Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical issues

● Ensure all storage devices are security compliant

● Contribute to monitoring of team metrics and KPIs, ensuring the health and success of the service

● Collaborate with other cross-functional teams in both engineering and security.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
● Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI wPoly
● Preferred Skills:

+ Demonstrate an understanding of technology as it pertains to infrastructure and applications and be able to provide design recommendations.
+ Proven track record in designing and managing enterprise storage environments.
+ Expert knowledge of NetApp ONTAP hardware, software, and associated features (e.g., Snapshot, SnapVault, FlexClone, SnapMirror, FlexVol, Fabric Pool, and Object Storage).
+ Proficiency in NAS protocols, including NFS and SMB.
+ Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving complex technical and performance issues in storage in storage environments.
+ Knowledge of the NetApp storage grid.
+ Knowledge of virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware) and their integration with storage systems.
+ Familiarity with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus
+ Windows and UNIX knowledge.

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500.

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.

Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
