**Job Description:**
BCC, a Parsons Company, is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior CAD Designer / Drafter** to join our team! In this role you will get the opportunity to support bridge design for major transportation infrastructure projects throughout the region.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Coordinating with and assisting a licensed engineer, analyze and prepare project designs and drawings for steel bridges; pre-cast, pre-stressed concrete bridges; cast-in-place flat slabs; and miscellaneous structures
+ Use standard drafting/design principles and theories to prepare project drawings quickly, accurately, and in accordance with all specifications outlined in internal and external CADD manuals
+ Work from project specifications, sketches, computer models, and verbal information to determine the most appropriate views, detail drawings, and supplementary information needed to complete drawings quickly and accurately
+ Coordinate with other technicians, designers, and engineers to complete details and ensure a cohesive design
+ Effectively present proposed team design solutions as part of internal project meetings
+ Stay up to date with industry CADD standards and best practices
+ Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely personal resume updates and participating in marketing campaigns
+ Ensure timely completion of time sheets, expense reports, and labor hours management
+ Take ownership of personal and team member career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop and teach new skills, and setting and pursuing goals
+ Contribute to the development of team members through mentorship and modeling positive behaviors
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ 5 years of related Infrastructure, structural and bridge drafting experience.
+ Proficiency in Microstation, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD and working knowledge of Civil 3D is an advantage.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and/or Bluebeam.
+ Experience working on FDOT (Florida Department of Transportation) projects.

Salary Range: $26.25 - $45.96
This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days and will continue to be posted for an average of 30 days until a qualified applicant is selected or the position has been cancelled.
