Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring for **Structural Stress Analysis Engineer** (Associate or Experienced) to work at our Commercial Airplanes Washington Design Center based in **Everett, WA** .
As a Structures Analysis engineer, you possess a solid understanding of airplane structural analysis methods and tools for both metallic and/or composite structures.
You will ensure the airplane has sufficient strength to endure all conditions encountered during its operational life.
The analyst also ensures the airplane structure meets all other design requirements including fail-safety, durability and damage tolerance where applicable.
Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate (Level 2) and Experienced (Level 3) Structural Stress Analysis Engineers.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Develops, integrates and documents structural requirements to establish the system design.
+ Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment.
+ Guides product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
+ Develops test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
+ Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
+ Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.
+ Works under general direction
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):**
+ Bachelor's degree in one of the following engineering disciplines: Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Civil, or Structural Engineering degrees.
+ 2+ years related work experience in structural/stress analysis.
+ Experience with Engineering classification such as Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil or Structural Engineering.
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**
+ 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ ABET-accredited or equivalent engineering degree
+ Experience with Fatigue or Durability Analysis.
+ Experience in aerospace stress analysis.

Summary pay range for Associate (Level 2): $81,600 - $110,400
Summary pay range for Experienced (Level 3): $102,000.00 - $138,000
