Position Function:
The Recruitment Coordinator will support the Division of Education by coordinating strategic communication, marketing, recruitment, advising support, and orientation initiatives.
This individual will promote the Division’s programs, enhance its visibility, and engage prospective students, alumni, and stakeholders through effective digital and print communication while supporting enrollment growth through active recruitment and outreach.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.
Develop and maintain content for the Division’s website and social media platforms.
2.
Create promotional materials, newsletters (print and digital), brochures, press
releases, and faculty/staff announcements.
3.
Collaborate with faculty and administrators to highlight achievements, awards,
research, and events.
4.
Assist with digital imaging, editing, and graphic design for internal and external
communications.
5.
Coordinate efforts with the Director of Development for alumni communication and
engagement.
6.
Develop and implement a strategic recruitment plan for the Division of Education.
7.
Plan and attend recruitment events, both on- and off-campus (some travel required).
8.
Coordinate and facilitate student orientation sessions.
9.
Maintain databases of prospective, suspended, and graduated students.
10.
Provide support for student advising initiatives and collaborate with faculty and staff
to ensure accurate and timely communication with students.
11.
Manage and inventory recruitment materials and promotional items.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in communications, recruitment, student services, or a
related role
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• 3–5 years of experience in student recruitment, advising, and/or public relations
• Experience with marketing and design tools (, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Familiarity with AP style and news writing
• Experience working in Banner and managing databases
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in design and office productivity software
• Experience working with faculty and students
• Understanding of academic programs in the Division of Education
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Normal office environment with some travel required.
Requires handling multiple deadlines and occasional high-stress situations.
