What You'll Do

• Storyboard, film, produce, and edit engaging and high-quality video content to live across various social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
  
  
• Collaborate with the Complex News Producer and Style team to develop daily stories and strategize coverage around culturally relevant events, stories, and Complex announcements.
  
  
• Produce 3x greenscreen videos per week, and 3x non-greenscreen Complex News videos, in collaboration with the Style team
• Own all phases of creator video production from pre-to-publishing on platform (ideating, scripting, filming, editing, and posting on platform)
• Manage a daily workflow that includes publishing content directly to all ComplexStyle social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, etc.
  
  
• Host Complex events, and represent Complex at style industry eventsDevelop brand sponsorship opportunities, and implement commerce integration strategies
• Contribute as needed to comprehensive editorial and social coverage of Style content as needed
• Use analytics and audience insights to refine coverage and inform strategy

Who You Are

• 2+ years of demonstrated writing, reporting, and video editing experience at a publisher
• A deep knowledge of streetwear, menswear, and style culture
• Willingness to appear on camera in social media content.
  
  
• Possess a deep understanding of all social media and streaming platforms
• Demonstrable commitment to accuracy; fact-checking or copy editing background a plus
• Must be willing to work nights and occasional weekends/holidays for coverage
• Excellent organizational and time management skillsability to perform in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and think quickly and strategically to meet tight deadlines.
  
  
• Experience with Capcut or Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Adobe Premiere)

$80,000 - $90,000 a year

The Pay Range, which consists of salary and commission, for this position is listed.

Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance.

The range listed is just one component of Complex Total Rewards offerings for employees.
