About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Enterprise Application intern who is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a technology-related field.
You will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that drive key business functions at Dow Jones.
Working under the direct supervision of the team manager, you will be assigned tasks that gradually increase in complexity as you build your skills and knowledge across various system functions.
This internship provides hands-on, practical experience while contributing to impactful projects that support Dow Jones' business goals.
You Will
Receive on-the-job training and learn the fundamental aspects of the application's architecture.
Apply your growing knowledge to real programming assignments, contributing directly to development projects.
Explore and research opportunities to incorporate AI into existing systems, making recommendations for potential enhancements.
Attend training sessions with team leaders.
Complete independent study of current system documentation and review existing program code.
Participate in design meetings with the team.
Assist team in troubleshooting application issues.
Develop and test application code.
Evaluate AI tools applicable to the system.
You Have
Completed at least 2 years toward your bachelor's degree in a technology related field
Experience using a computer software language.
Understanding of how database tables can be accessed such as SQL.
Analysis of technical requirements.
Logical reasoning when constructing code.
Strong problem-solving techniques.
Creativity in proposed solutions.
Conceptual understanding of AI.
Excellent communication skills.
Salary: $25.00/hour
