**The Team & Role**

Join our dynamic and innovative global engineering team as a **Modeling & Simulation Engineering Intern** and gain hands-on experience in developing and validating simulation models for HVACR systems and components.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a global, multi-disciplinary team and contribute to Simulation driven product development.

You will get a chance to use industry leading modeling & simulation tools such as Ansys Mechanical or Ansys Fluent, Optimization tools such as Siemens Heeds, plus work closely with our experts on 1D modeling using GT-Suite.

**Key Responsibilities & Your Day-to-Day**

+ Support the development, validation, and standardization of 1D/2D/3D simulation models for HVACR systems and subsystems using model-based engineering tools.
+ Collaborate with engineers across global teams to gather inputs, define boundary conditions, and apply material properties for simulation accuracy.
+ Assist in tracking project progress and facilitating communication among contributors and stakeholders.
+ Participate in initiatives involving optimization techniques, machine learning, finite element analysis (FEA), and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
+ Contribute to performance and reliability improvements of Copeland products through simulation-driven insights.

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree
+ Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
+ Anticipated Graduation of December 2026 or May 2027
+ Ability to work the Summer Term which goes from May 18, 2026 - August 14th, 2026
+ Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
