Job description

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in the Administrative Support Division (Code 1102) in the Executive Support Staff (Code 1100), of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Responsibilities You will develop, implement, monitor, and maintain a robust Records Management program for Norfolk Naval Shipyard.

You will be responsible for the effective and efficient implementation of the objectives and policies of the Secretary of the Navy’s records management program on behalf of the Command.

You will assist and advise the Essential Records Coordinator with identifying and managing command Emergency Operation Records.

You will be required to travel annually to Tenant Units to perform evaluate and spot-check, their records management program.

You will oversee, train and manage the creation, maintenance, and disposition of all command records, including managing all electronic records DON approved databases.

You will provide training for all Shipyard personnel and regularly interfaces with Records Management points-of-contact throughout the yard and at other Shipyards.

Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying DON and NAVSEA records management processes and procedures, including ability to design, develop, implement, and maintain a program in a large industrial setting.

Experience applying basis administrative functions including drafting correspondence, Microsoft Software, automated data systems, email, formatting, rearranging, editing etc.

Experience conducting research and applying statistical, analytical, and evaluation methods and techniques to a variety of document control related issues or concerns.

Experience communicating orally and in writing and dealing with all levels of employees, supervisors, managers, both internal and external to the Command, and with counterparts throughout the Corporation and in the private sector as necessary.
