Raytheon's Software Configuration Management (SWCM) department establishes and maintains integrity for all digital products throughout the entire life cycle.

SWCM department is hiring a Software Configuration Management Engineer II, to work as a Software Transfer Agent onsite in **Colorado Springs, CO.**

What You Will Do:

+ Build and maintain strong working relationships across all teams
+ Automate and streamline transfer procedures and processes
+ Create customized / tailored configurations, workflows, automations, reports, and integrations that meet specific program, customer and/or site requirements
+ Trouble-shoot / repair issues, escalations, and action items
+ Maintain familiarity with program schedule, identifying risks and aligning work to promote reuse and efficiency
+ Support internal and external customers in a technical capacity throughout the program lifecycle
+ Ensure site baseline and post deploy verifications
+ Perform and lead coordination of data transfers, courier support among various environments
+ **Work onsite at Schriever SFB site**

Qualifications You Must Have:

+ Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred)
+ A minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience.
+ Experience in debugging/troubleshooting of connectivity issues in complex systems
+ Automation experience shell scripting in Linux, Unix, and Windows
+ Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.

Qualifications We Prefer:

+ Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
+ Strong background in task automation
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills
+ Experience with scripting programming languages (i.e., Perl, shell, PHP, C#, batch, Python, Ruby, or YAML)
+ Work effectively with individuals from diverse communities/cultures and cross discipline organizations
+ Experience with the Atlassian Suite, CloudBees Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, Chef, Rundeck

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role.

If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
