Base pay range
$92,000.00/hr - $100,000.00/hr

Syntelligent is currently seeking a full-time Technical Editor to support our intelligence customer located at the Northern VA area.
Location: NMCC, Pentagon
Schedule: Shift: Yes.
0300-1100 M-F (permanent assignment)
Anticipated Salary Range: $92,000-$100,000
Responsibilities
Duties will include:
- Reviews intelligence products for proper grammar, punctuation, and syntax, as well as for logic, clarity, and consistency.
- Ensures that style and format conform to agency publication standards and that language presentation is consistent with prescribed style guides and specialized vocabulary of subject matter fields.
- Amends draft tables, tone boxes, and graphics to ensure the content supports and is consistent with the accompanying text.
- Ensures proper classification markings in accordance with IC guidance.
Works with authors to revise products for narrative organization, and negotiates further revisions as needed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Experience in the DoD or intelligence community (IC) working with FINTEL products.Experience as a writer, editor, or intelligence analyst in an IC organizationAbility to proofread, edit, correct text for style and accuracyAbility to apply IC analytic standards and analytic tradecraft standards as defined in the Intelligence Reform, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 203 Analytic StandardsAbility to prepare intelligence assessments and other written products with an emphasis on logical argumentation and analytic clarityActive TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph exam (Current CI Poly required)HS diploma or GED plus 4 years' of experience; OR Bachelor's degree plus <1 year of related experience
Clearance: TS/SCI CI POLY
Mental Requirements: Must be able to multi-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long-periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with producing all-source intelligence analysis and managing production of analysis products
- Possession of excellent organizational and analytic skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

The likely salary range for this position is $95,000-105,000 per year.
This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
Other rewards may include annual bonuses, Spot bonuses, and program-specific awards.
