Systems Integration & Test Engineer
About the Role
•As a Systems Integration & Test Engineer, you’ll be responsible for planning, implementing, testing, documenting, and maintaining solutions for integrating and validating both in-house and COTS/GOTS components and systems.
You’ll translate customer requirements into effective test strategies, balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
This role involves defining system specifications, resolving hardware/software interface issues, and ensuring seamless system integration.
•You’ll lead the development and execution of test plans, procedures, and schedules, and collaborate across teams to coordinate system-level testing.
Your work will include analyzing test results, writing detailed evaluation reports, and performing regression testing to validate fixes and enhancements.
Minimum Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for reporting, planning, and documentation.
•Hands-on experience with LabVIEW and/or NI TestStand for software development and maintenance.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks independently.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.
•Comfortable working with minimal supervision to achieve results.
Preferred Qualifications
•9+ years of relevant industry experience.
•Expertise in measuring electrical parameters for components and subsystems.
•Deep knowledge of RF or microwave systems and subsystems.
•Extensive experience developing complex test programs using LabVIEW and/or TestStand.
•Skilled in specifying components for test equipment design.
•Strong troubleshooting skills across instruments, fixtures, software, and hardware.
•Proficient in creating engineering documentation such as block diagrams and parts lists.
•Familiarity with corrective/preventive action processes.
•Experience deriving test requirements from system-level specifications.
•Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies between design documentation and actual hardware.
•Strong cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building skills.
