This role focuses on supporting the Office of Information Technology's Disaster Recovery Unit in analyzing, creating, and documenting Recovery Plans for mission-essential systems.
The position is hybrid in New Jersey.
What You'll Do
- Support the Disaster Recovery team in analyzing and creating Disaster Recovery Plans for critical systems impacting various public and private sectors
- Perform client engagement work associating technologies with business processes identified through meetings with internal IT teams, agency partners, and management
- Document the relationships between business impact analysis, risk assessments, and meetings with business owners
What You'll Need
- 2 years' experience conducting business impact analysis
- 2 years prior experience working within the lifecycle of Disaster Recovery
- 1 year experience with hot/cold/warm sites
- 2 years' experience conducting backup assessments
- Strong knowledge of business continuity management principles, procedures, techniques, and disaster response
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation, facilitation, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
