**What We’re Doing**
Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies.
While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.
**The Work**
The System Test Team conducts the planning and analysis of all MDS ground tests and flight tests in which the C2BMC program is a participant.
Ground test types include: pairwise tests, Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI), Integrated Ground Test (GTI), Distributed Ground Test (GTD), cyber tests, Space Domain Awareness (SDA), and pre-flight test HWIL efforts.
Flight tests are conducted with pre-determined sensors and shooters.
International events are comprised of various ground tests and flight tests.
The System Test SME is responsible for the planning of all assigned test events, with emphasis on developing and implementing the test artifacts required for each event:
-Test objectives
-Architectures
-Data Item Descriptions
-Defense Designs
-Sensor Resource Management (SRM) settings
-Operational Tasking Data Link (OPTASKLINK), Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI) configuration and Forwarding --Tables, CDS, TDACS, TRAUT TDACS, Comms Connectivity -Matrices, Event Configuration Baseline (ECB)
-System Adjustable Parameters (SAPs)/Site-Specific Parameters (SSPs)
-BDR and PR applicability
-Certification Data Packages
The position also provides the following support:
-Support planning phase reviews and meetings
-Support customer boards and meetings
-Support Data Management
-Interface with developers
-Support government personnel during event execution phases when requested
-Support anomaly resolution and troubleshooting
-Support analysis group
-Support Failure Review Boards (FRBs)

**Basic Qualifications:**
•A final SECRET clearance is required.
•Must understand systems engineering, systems design, development, integration & test and verification.
•Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, including system design, development, integration, and test, with experience in developing and implementing system engineering artifacts such as system architecture descriptions and interface control documents.
•Experience developing system engineering artifacts (e.g. specifications, Interface Control Documents, Use Case Briefings, System Architecture Descriptions, Trade Studies, etc.)
•Previous experience leading complex teams in a key role.
•Ability to lead/perform portions of the work and direct the activities of other systems test engineers.
•Ability to work directly with multiple customer organizations and contractor organizations is a must.
•Experience in Ballistic Missile defense or similar programs.
**Desired Skills:**
•Prior experience on the C2BMC program in any capacity
•Self-starter with good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with the government customer as well as personnel internal and external to the program
•Technical knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networks
•Prior integration and test experience within the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program
•Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with experience in supporting planning phase reviews, customer boards, and meetings, as well as interfacing with developers, government personnel, and other stakeholders.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115.
For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
