NetImpact Strategies, Inc.
is seeking to hire System Administrator - Level II to support a Federal Agency.
Government clearance requirements for this role require candidates to maintain a Secret Clearance.
Location: Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) Bethesda, MD.
Key Responsibilities:
Deploy, sustain, and troubleshoot new or existing server operating systems and infrastructure hardware/software.Administer day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security, and availability of infrastructure platforms.Perform daily system backups, monitoring, capacity analysis, and vulnerability patching to maintain security posture.Install and configure server hardware, operating systems, and application software.Create, manage, and update user accounts, roles, and access privileges.Develop and maintain system SOPs, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles.Provide technical advice, solutions, and briefings to leaders and staff.Analyze system operations, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective processes.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, software, and configurations in a timely manner.Ensure compliance with local regulations and organizational IT/security policies.Maintain Business and Clinical Systems, ensuring continuity and operational readiness.Support organizational goals through documentation, reporting, and compliance-driven metrics.Deliver daily or weekly status reports to management as required.Provide after-hours support and participate in on-call rotations as needed. Required Qualifications and Certifications:
Ability to meet required government clearances: Tier 3 (T3) InvestigationSix (6) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency with server operations to include blade architectures, virtualization technologies, Active Directory management, Group Policy, application support, and storage solutionsBachelor’s degree and/or equivalency.IAT II certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)CE: Professional (or expert) level certificate for supported technology as approved by the COR.Microsoft MSCE-level certification preferred, or equivalent experience.Preferred Qualifications and Certifications:
Familiarity with DSUW, Remedy ITSM, and M3 environments.Previous Federal Consulting Experience.Strong time management and documentation skills. About Us
