Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of a System Application Engineer in our Lyndhurst, NJ location and New York job sites.
What will you do?
Programming Access Control, CCTV, Network, Visitor Management and Security systems Providing assistance to vendors when integrating systems.
Entering database information as well as initializing/maintaining controllers, IP devices, Servers, Workstations.
Applying software updates and firmware updates as needed.
Creating graphics for web page designs and menus among other projects/tasks Providing assistance to sites and fellow team members as needed.
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or relative work experience.
Programming knowledge/skills required Knowledge of electrical principle and networking Control systems, SQL knowledge a plus (but not required) For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $70, - $80, per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.
Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.
Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
