**Description:**
You will be the Systems Engineer Associate Manager for the Air System Analysis & Verification (ASA&V) team which is responsible for leading the newly forming Business Operations team.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Systems Engineer Associate Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of systems engineers, managing talent, and developing common cost, schedule, and proposal approaches.

Your responsibilities will include:
+ Performing dual roles as functional leader of a group of systems engineers and as an experienced engineer leading a project or performing technical tasks supporting the ASA&V organization.
+ Managing talent, including staffing planning, knowledge sharing, career development, performance reviews, training, and recruiting.
+ Developing common cost, schedule, and proposal approaches between the various subteams within the ASA&V organization.
+ Building relationships with team members, direct reports, and stakeholders.
+ Growing team members' skills and providing regular feedback.

**Further Information About This Opportunity**
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance that’s been adjudicated within the last 5-years to start.
**This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.**
**Basic Qualifications:**
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (such as Aeronautical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics) or equivalent experience and combined education that demonstrates a strong foundation in technical principles and practices.
• Demonstrated Project Management skills and capability.
• Team leadership experience.
• Experience and/or knowledge of the Systems Engineering Process.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
**Desired Skills:**
• Experience with project management using Agile process and (Product management, Scrum, and using JIRA).
• Experience with Earned Value Management and/or Control Account Management (CAM) experience
• Knowledge/experience working with proposals.
• Adaptable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Strong oral and written communication.
• Demonstrated experience and skills building successful teams to solve complex problems.
• Experience mentoring other team members.
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
**Clearance Level:** Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
