Work Setting: In person, some remote opportunity, and/or flexible working hours, not a fully remote position
Salary Range: Based on relevant experience, education, and certifications
+ 0-2 years: $70,000
+ + 2+ years: $80,000
+ + 5+ years: $105,000
+ + Please note these ranges vary depending on the specific opportunity, experience, and other factors
Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain Active DoD Secret Clearance
Where you make an impact: For this opportunity, we are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented Systems Engineer .
This position provides the opportunity to work on just about any aspect there is as it pertains to designing, developing, integrating, and sustaining complex systems.
You will contribute to the full systems engineering lifecycle—requirements analysis, design, integration, testing, and sustainment—helping to ensure that hardware, software, and networked applications function together as a cohesive whole.
Systems engineers see the “big picture,” balancing technical detail with cost, schedule, and performance trade-offs to deliver resilient, mission-ready solutions.

We are seeking expertise in Systems Engineering such as:
+ Supporting the full development lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, integration, testing, and sustainment
+ Assisting in system verification & validation (V&V) activities to ensure performance and reliability
+ Contributing to the integration of hardware, software, and networked applications into cohesive solutions
+ Supporting system modeling and simulation to evaluate design alternatives and performance
+ Applying systems engineering processes, tools, and standards to ensure structured, repeatable development practices
+ Understanding cost, schedule, and performance trade-offs to balance the “big picture” with technical detail
+ Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills across multi-disciplinary teams
+ Familiarity with DoD or Navy systems and technical standards
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field

The annual salary range for this position starts at $70,000 and goes up based on your qualifications.
We also offer a competitive benefits package and have fringe benefits offered throughout the year.
The benefits package value ranges from $13,000 for a single employee, and up to $28,000 for an employee and their family.

At G2 Ops, we offer a flexible schedule to meet the needs of our team members and customers.
Due to the classification level of the projects we support as a Defense Contractor, we cannot offer fully remote opportunities at this time.
You will have a shiny desk at our G2 Ops office, plus the opportunity to work at a military site directly with our customers (this is a good thing!).
We do allow teleworking with prior approval, but supporting the DoD, you will be required to work at a government site as well.

Lastly, as we are working for the DoD, we are beholden to some requirements.
The ideal candidate would already possess an active DoD Secret level clearance.
