Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Systems Engineer (Systems Design and Integration).

In this role, you will support the Submarine C5I Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) team in the design, integration, and testing of submarine combat systems at our Lockheed Martin Manassas, VA site.

As part of the Submarine C5I SE&I team, you will help facilitate System of Systems (SoS) feature development and integration and frequent SoS testing/feedback to Submarine C5I subsystems to ensure a robust combat system is delivered to the Submarine Force.

As a member of the SE&I team, you will be involved in SoS features from development through test and delivery to the Fleet.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in systems engineering principles and practices and will be able to work on a variety of tasks throughout the system lifecycle.

Must be a US Citizen; This position will require a government security clearance; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
**Basic Qualifications:**
• Bachelor's degree in any Engineering field or related discipline, such as Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant disciplines from an accredited college
• Relevant coursework or experience with requirements management, system design and architecture, systems modeling, integration and test, and/or project management
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
**Desired Skills:**
• Basic understanding of agile development principles and methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Confluence collaboration products
• Familiarity with Model-based Systems Engineering principles (e.g., SysML, UML) and tools (e.g., Cameo, Rhapsody, MagicDraw)
• Familiarity with system and software architecture concepts such as containerization and virtualization
• Basic knowledge of the Linux operating system and command line interface
• Ability to support traveling to pier-side events to support navy submarine testing
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
