<p><b><u>Systems Engineer Systems Engineer with PLC Programming in Automotive Industry</u></b></p> <p><b><u>Location: San Antonio, TX</u></b></p> <p><b><u>Salary: $85K - $95K</u></b></p> <p>We are currently seeking a Control/Systems Engineer to join our team.
Working with other highly motivated Engineers, you will be involved with integrating, testing, troubleshooting and programming electrical controls.
</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Responsibilities</b>: </p> <ul> <li class="MsoNoSpacing">Controls systems design and modification from drawing to implementation</li> <li class="MsoNoSpacing">PLC programming with various PLC types but mainly Mitsubishi PLCs</li> <li class="MsoNoSpacing">HMI/GOT creation and modification according to customers specifications</li> <li class="MsoNoSpacing">Adhere to customer safety standards</li> <li class="MsoNoSpacing">Adjusting, troubleshooting, modifying of "Device Net", "CC-Link", "Ethernet" and other industrial protocols.</li> <li class="MsoNoSpacing">Communicate and assist other Engineers to resolve issues.</li> <li class="MsoNoSpacing">Attending and communicating with clients for specifications, requirements and others and resolving the issues.</li> <li class="MsoNoSpacing">Keep organized documentation of future, current and past projects </li> <li class="MsoNoSpacing">Managing and supporting small to large desktop workstation environments (AutoCAD, Excel, SolidWorks, etc.)</li> <li class="MsoNoSpacing">On-Site commissioning, installation and verification</li> <li class="MsoNoSpacing">Support overseas engineers</li> <li class="MsoNoSpacing">Ability to work independently as the representative for the company on customer's site.</li> </ul> <p style="margin-left:48px"> </p> <p style="margin-bottom:11px"><b>Required Qualifications:</b></p> <ul> <li class="MsoNoSpacing">5-year experience with PLC programming (Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, RSLogix 5000, Omron).
</li> <li class="MsoNoSpacing">Experience creating, and editing HMI/GOTs</li> <li class="MsoNoSpacing">Hands-on knowledge of wiring various sensors (Photoelectrical Sensor, Limit Switch, etc.).
</li> <li class="MsoNoSpacing">High-level understanding of wiring diagrams and schematic diagrams.</li> <li>Knowledge of "Device Net", "CC-Link", "Ethernet" and other communication protocols</li> <li>Experience with barcode reader and vision inspection systems (Keyence, Cognex, etc.) </li> <li class="MsoNoSpacing">PLC troubleshooting and debugging experience.</li> <li class="MsoNoSpacing">Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Design, Automation, Industrial Engineering or college equivalent.</li> <li>Ability to work on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays, if necessary.</li> <li>Knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering and Factory Automation Systems for automotive industries.</li> <li class="MsoNoSpacing">Ability to complete all security and safety requirements that may be required for the performance of the work.
