Come join our team as a Systems Engineering Co-op in the Avionics Air Transport Displays department.

Working with other systems and software engineers, you will have the opportunity to develop flight deck display systems used on commercial jet airplanes.

This position will be Onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA.

**Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).**

**What You Will Do:**

+ Work with other systems, software, and hardware engineers to create avionics display solutions that are high quality, reliable and safe
+ Develop and execute system-level operational tests for Avionics Display Systems
+ Develop software tools to support display system integration, verification and validation

**What You Will Learn:**

+ Implementation of multiple phases of the system development lifecycle including requirements capture, system design and modeling, integration, system verification and validation
+ Application of industry standards and processes, such as ARINC 661, ARINC 664, and ARP-4754

**Qualifications You Must Have:**

+ Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

**Qualifications We Prefer:**

+ Experience with at least one programming or scripting language

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
