**The Opportunity:**
CACI is seeking talented Systems Engineering Interns to join our team for Summer 2026! The internship will begin in May and last 12 weeks.

You will be required to work 100% on-site in the Sterling, VA office.

Be part of a fast-paced counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) mission that makes a difference to the warfighter on a daily basis.

You will be exposed to stakeholders that develop requirements and deliver new capabilities, while working on projects to enable learning the various missions and systems engineering principles and skills.

You will get to be part of a team of fun and energized engineers and culture of sharing information amongst teammates working within a product family to field tactical SIGINT collection systems to the DoD.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Work directly with a team of Systems Engineers to generate/update engineering documentation
+ Input supplied information to generate/update requirements documentation, system diagrams, timeline diagrams, etc.
+ Analyze and review current software and related documentation.

i.e. specifications, requirements, interface documents, test documents
+ Assist in preparing documentation to change existing programs
+ Work directly with the test team to familiarize yourself with current capabilities and get hands-on experience
+ Perform analysis tools development; including the coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation maintenance of basic programs that are designed to assist with data analysis practices

**Qualifications:**

_Required:_

+ Currently working toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
+ Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance
+ Strong academic credentials
+ Teamwork skills
+ Interpersonal communication skills
+ Experience with RF software and hardware systems
+ Familiarity with hardware or software tools at an appropriate academic level
+ Ability to work on the computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email, and face-to-face

+ Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
+ Previous internship/co-op or other work experience
+ Participation in professional/community/extracurricular activities
+ Experience working in an Agile environment

**Pay Range** : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
