<p><b>Roles/Responsibilities:</b></p> <ul> <li>Works under limited supervision in leading the maintenance and enhancements to agency's intranet including analysis, requirements, systems and UI/UX design, planning and developing.
Includes site provisioning, web parts, workflows and branding.</li> <li>Leverages existing m365 tools such as the Ms power suite, Ms teams, SharePoint, etc.
To enhance collaboration within the agency's m365 ecosystem.</li> <li>Design and implement PowerApps and power automate flows to automate business processes.</li> <li>Develops solutions to be accessible and user-friendly on both desktop computers and mobile devices.</li> <li>Develops technical documentation to enable the agency's help desk and technicians to provide ongoing support.</li> <li>Works with system administrators to ensure security controls are in place.
Maximizes security controls using industry best practices.</li> <li>Develops user documentation</li> <li>Complies with agency policies; CJIS security guidance; state security standards.</li> <li>Conducts formal and informal meetings communicating</li> <li>Directly with the it team, business employees, and vendor partners.</li> <li>Leads technical workshops and knowledge transfer sessions on SharePoint and power platform customization, automation, and modernization</li> <li>Provides guidance to team on best practices of SharePoint and power platform governance.</li> <li>Support devops-based environment management (DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD) with controlled releases.</li> <li>Weekly status reports to management.</li> </ul> <p><b>Mandatory Skills: </b> </p> <ol> <li>Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in computer science, information systems/technology management or related discipline with degree/certificate or equivalent work experience.</li> <li>At Least 10 Years of SharePoint Development Experience: The developer must possess a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in SharePoint development.</li> <li>Proficiency in SharePoint Online and Office 365: The developer should have a strong understanding of SharePoint Online and Office 365 features, functionality, and capabilities.</li> <li>Experience in Designing and Developing Intranets: The developer should have experience in designing and developing intranets using SharePoint 365, including creating custom layouts, features, and functionalities.</li> <li>Knowledge of SharePoint Customization: The developer should be skilled in customizing SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts to meet specific business requirements.</li> <li>Power Suite Expertise: Proficiency in utilizing Office 365 Power Suite (Power Automate, Power BI) and add-ons to enhance functionality, automate processes, and streamline operations.</li> <li>Strong Programming Skills: The developer should have expertise in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PowerShell.</li> <li>Understanding of Information Architecture: The developer should have a good understanding of information architecture principles to organize and structure content effectively within the intranet.</li> <li>Security and Compliance Knowledge: The developer should be familiar with security best practices and compliance standards related to SharePoint Online to ensure the intranet is secure and compliant.</li> <li>Communication and Collaboration Skills: The developer should have strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders, gather requirements, and provide training and support to end-users.</li> <li>Problem-Solving Abilities: The developer should be able to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and find solutions to ensure the intranet functions smoothly and meets the agency's needs.</li> <li>Personalization Skills: Experience in implementing personalized user experiences within the intranet, such as content targeting, user-specific dashboards, and customized notifications, to enhance user engagement and productivity.</li> <li>The developer should possess a diverse set of technical skills, experience, and qualifications to effectively design, develop, and implement an intranet using SharePoint Online.</li> <li>Strong User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) Knowledge and Skills: </li> <li>Effective Interpersonal Skills</li> <li>Proactive and Self-Motivated</li> </ol> <p><b>Desirable Skills:</b></p> <ol> <li>Microsoft copilot integrations</li> <li>M365 adoption strategy and roadmap development</li> <li>Gamification knowledge: understanding of gamification principles and the ability to incorporate gamified elements into the intranet to engage users, drive adoption, and promote collaboration.</li> <li>Certifications such as Microsoft certified: SharePoint online, Microsoft 365 certified: developer associate, or similar certifications</li> </ol>
