**About the job you’re considering**

We are seeking an experienced Tableau Administrator/Developer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in Tableau Administration, Tableau Desktop, and SQL.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data governance, and security best practices.

This role involves managing Tableau environments, supporting a large user base, and ensuring optimal performance and availability of Tableau services.

**Your role**

+ Administer Tableau Server and Tableau Online environments.
+ Create and manage user groups, organize workbooks, dashboards, and data sources within sites and projects.
+ Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and performance tuning of Tableau environments.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tableau dashboards, data sources, and server performance.
+ Collaborate with BI developers and data engineers to ensure seamless data integration and visualization.
+ Monitor usage and performance metrics to optimize Tableau resources.
+ Implement and enforce data governance, security, and privacy best practices.
+ Support and manage Tableau in Application Maintenance (AM) and Support projects with a large user base.
+ Document processes, configurations, and best practices.

**Your skills and experience**

+ 5 years of proven experience with Tableau Administration and Desktop.
+ Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts.
+ Experience managing Tableau environments with a large number of users.
+ Solid understanding of data governance, security, and privacy standards.
+ Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable data solutions.
+ Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Tableau certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Certified Professional, Tableau Server Certified Associate).
+ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Tableau Cloud.
+ Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation.
