**Tapping Setup/Operator – 3rd Shift – 10:00PM-6:00AM**

**Starting at $20.75 + Shift Differential**

**What You’ll Do**
As a Tapping Setup/Operator you'll be part of our team located in Montpelier, IN.

You’ll get to:

+ Set up Tapping machines
+ Trouble shoot machinery and quality issues
+ Execute tapping department processes and procedures
+ Provide management with supporting documents and data as required
+ Notify supervisor to purchase tooling, taps, and machine repair parts as required
+ Schedule parts for tappers and operators according to production schedule
+ Understand tapping sequence
+ Load machines with parts as required
+ Operate PIV
+ Clean out oil and parts from inside machines
+ Keep tooling clean and in working order
+ Perform training for department as necessary
+ Ability to work overtime as needed
+ Able to work different shift to cover production needed
+ Understand inventory system and tool re ordering

+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Effective written and oral communication skills
+ Interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic or schedule form
+ Apply principles of rational systems to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
+ Follows appropriate housekeeping procedures according to company guidelines
+ Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor
+ Basic mathematical understanding and ability (add, subtract, divide units of measurement)
+ Practical application of proportion and geometric construction
+ Organized -ability to maintain orderly work stations and tool crib area
