**Technology Consulting, SAP – Customer – Power & Utilities, Application Systems Engineer (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1642008), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Austin, TX.**

Provide Power & Utilities clients with a unique business perspective on how to leverage SAP technology to improve their operations with a focus on helping clients improve performance and increase productivity in the digital era.

Develop inbound, outbound interfaces to send or receive data from/to external clients (Ariba, Concur, Blackline, BPC, etc.) Conduct requirements gathering, prototyping, and testing new processes.

Assist and guide customers in the selection, implementation and support of SAP solutions including blueprinting and design, configuration, testing, training and go-live support.

Provide functional and business process expertise as part of a project team.

As part of the systems development lifecycle steps: assist in the definition of solution capabilities; prepare and conduct Fit / Gap workshops; prepare Business Process Design Documents (BPDs), Key Decision Documents (KDDs), Configuration Rationale Documents (CRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FDs); and take action on follow-up activities, including the solicitation of client approvals, and provide insights to technical team resources in support of the development of Technical Design Documents (TDDs).

Provide assistance to the Testing team as it pertains to the identification of Testing scenarios and the preparation of Testing scripts.

Work with SAP CX (i.e., Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud) and S/4 technologies (e.g., SAP S/4 Customer and Service Management, SAP Industry Solution for Utilities, Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM)), and solutions as well as SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Process Orchestration (SAP PI) and Process Integration (SAP PI), non-SAP Integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft), SAP and third-party Digital platforms and tools (e.g., SAP Emarsys), and non-SAP technologies such as technologies associated with capturing Customer-oriented Master and Transactional Data (e.g., Meter Data Management Systems (MDMS).

Design and develop SAP-enabled processes, addressing the complexities associated with establishing normalized and efficient front-office processes that ultimately connect with other SAP-enabled mid-office and back-office functions.

Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.

Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress.

Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.

Maintain long-term client relationships and networks.

Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance, Operations, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience.

Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance, Operations, or a related field and 4 years of related work experience.

Must have 3 years of functional and technical experience with SAP IS-U.

Must have 4 years of experience in providing external advisory and/or consulting services in the strategy, design, configuration, and implementation of end-to-end solutions in SAP.

Must have 3 years of experience with designing reports, interfaces, scorecards and dashboards for business intelligence framework.

Must have 3 years of experience with implementing batch management process for the Operational Readiness Testing phase.

Must have 2 years of experience in all of the following:

• Project management or team leadership experience, including scope, timing, resource allocation and performance;
• Researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies; and
• Leading practices, benchmarking, and peer company environments.

Must have 3 years of experience in translating business requirements into end-to-end SAP-enabled solutions, including gathering requirements, solution design, building, testing and solution deployment.

Must have 1 full lifecycle SAP implementation while employed with a professional services firm, from planning, to configuration, to go- live.

Must have 2 years of experience managing teams of SAP technology professionals.

Requires travel up to 80%, of which 20% may be international, to serve client needs.

The base salary for this job is $217,570.00 per year.
