We break down barriers to AI knowledge and innovation, ensuring that all individuals—regardless of background—have the opportunity to engage with and leverage AI for positive transformation.

Through initiatives like the Ai Summit, we are building a global, inclusive ecosystem that fosters collaboration, innovation, and ethical AI development.
Role Overview TechEquity Ai is seeking a Visual Designer to create compelling visual content that enhances our brand identity and supports our mission.

This role will be responsible for designing marketing materials, social media graphics, event collateral, and website assets.

The Visual Designer will work with the marketing team to produce high-quality visuals that engage stakeholders, promote events such as the Ai Summit, and drive audience engagement.

The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about using design to amplify impact.
This role is structured for at least 25 hours per week for a minimum of six months, with the option to extend.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for individuals who excel in dynamic environments.

While a volunteer position, it upholds the high standards of Silicon Valley’s tech and nonprofit sector.

We seek independent, resourceful problem-solvers with relevant experience who are ready to apply their knowledge and take on multiple responsibilities to support the team.

Success in this role requires adaptability, initiative, independence and a willingness to step in where needed.

This opportunity is not structured as a training program; it is an opportunity to engage in high-impact work, gain real-world exposure in a results-driven AI and technology landscape.

For volunteer work shorter than six months, a two-week transition notice will be provided by both parties to ensure a smooth conclusion or transition of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities AI-Powered Content Creation : Utilize AI tools such as MidJourney and Runway to develop mini video campaigns and interactive visual activations that enhance event promotion and audience engagement.
Visual Content Creation : Design graphics, illustrations, and other visual assets for social media, website, videos, and marketing campaigns, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.
Event Branding & Collateral : Develop brand guidelines, promotional materials, event signage, digital banners, social media content, and presentation templates for TechEquity Ai events such as the Ai Summit and Ai Workshop.
Website & Digital Design : Work closely with the UI/UX design team to create and update website graphics, ensuring a visually engaging and cohesive digital experience.
Collaboration & Strategy : Partner with the marketing team to develop creative concepts that effectively communicate key messages and drive engagement.
Qualifications 2–4 years of experience in graphic design, digital media, or related fields.
Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Express), and PowerPoint.
Strong understanding of branding, typography, illustration and visual storytelling.
Experience creating graphics for social media, web, video, and print.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of AI, technology, or nonprofit sectors is a plus.
Preferred Skills Experience in motion graphics or video editing is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt designs for different audiences.
