We are looking for an experienced Engineer with expertise in electrical systems, power quality analysis, and data-driven performance optimization, with proven experience in systems implementation and performance analytics.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual capable of developing power resilience solutions for critical material handling systems.

This includes strategies to maintain operations during utility disruptions, achieve managed shutdowns, and ensure fast recovery.

The role also involves improving overall power management and creating data-driven performance tracking systems.

Key job responsibilities
- Capture and analyze power quality data at site incoming meters to develop utility resilience solutions
- Survey Amazon sites to identify restart-limiting devices and develop resilience solutions (e.g., UPS systems) for fast recovery following power outages
- Provide comprehensive solutions, including ROI analysis and deployment roadmaps for power resilience projects
- Track and analyze performance of implemented resilience solutions
- Create and maintain business intelligence dashboards for tracking KPIs such as maintenance compliance, cost savings, and program performance
- Support annual budgeting cycles and planning
- Use computer assisted engineering software to perform engineering tasks
- Support operations, construction, and other relevant departments with project deployment
- Develop and improve installation, commissioning, and inspection processes for electrical systems
- Provide on-call support 4-5 times per year, offering 24/7 assistance for network emergency electrical needs

About the team
Electrical Engineering is an Operations and Maintenance focused team that has one mission - to support Operations with industry leading service in the fields of electrical reliability, safety, and resilience.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical systems
- Experience using electrical engineering software and business intelligence tools
- Knowledge of power quality analysis
- Knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
- Experience managing electrical specific programs at scale
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven ability to analyze and troubleshoot power distribution and control systems
- Experience with UPS systems and power resilience solutions
- Experience with data analysis and creating business intelligence dashboards
- Familiarity with material handling control and communication systems
- Experience managing programs and projects across multiple sites or regions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

The base pay for this position ranges from $114,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,500/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
