Technical Infrastruture Program Manager, Global Network Deployment Job Opening In Seattle – Now Hiring Amazon

The AWS Global Network Deployment (GND) team is searching for a passionate and talented technical infrastructure program manager (TIPM) to drive Data Center and Network Capacity deployment efficiencies.

You will assess the demand requirements along with available network resources to determine and drive prime solutions for our customers.

You will work with stakeholders to complete pre-requisites necessary to deliver critical networking capacity.

You will lead programs with goals to improve infrastructure resource utilization and availability.

You will work with teams across the AWS Organization to effectively plan and deliver data center capacity.

Key job responsibilities
• Delivers programmatic customer solutions including deployment dependency mappings/RACI, removing systemic blockers from deployment pipeline via automation/process simplification.
• Manage dependencies between programs by anticipating risk, customer demand and negotiating the trade-off required to resolve issues and initiate corrective action.
• Drives continuous improvement of programmatic solutions, using data-driven trends and automated solutions to meet the needs of the customer.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP), training documents, playbooks, program features, lessons learnt etc.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders (vendor management, sourcing, planning & infrastructure delivery builders) to define requirements and processes.

• Seek guidance as needed but have a solid understanding of the business problems, tools, workflows, and the interdependencies that pertain to the program.
• Share best practices in project/program management across the organization

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
- Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software)
- Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting
- • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to translate complex business problems into clear and accurate results
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recognizing a challenge and working with a variety of teams and data sources to diagnose the problem and recommend solutions
- Experience with AWS, networks and operating systems
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

The base pay for this position ranges from $114,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,500/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
