Technical Inside Sales Representative - Valves Job Summary: 


We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Technical Inside Sales Representative - Valves to join our team.

As a key member of our inside sales team, you will play a vital role in managing a variety of responsibilities that involve direct communication with customers and collaboration across internal teams.

You will leverage your technical knowledge and sales acumen to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction, while building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Technical Inside Sales Representative - Valves Responsibilities:

  • Communicate directly with assigned customer accounts via phone and email to understand their needs and provide technical solutions
  • Process and manage sales orders using internal ERP/MRP systems
  • Provide technical information and respond to customer inquiries to address their questions and concerns
  • Coordinate with internal teams to fulfill requests, expedite orders, and resolve issues
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective and professional communication
  • Manage documentation accurately in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and technologies to provide expert advice to customers
  • Technical Inside Sales Representative - Valves Position Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of successful inside sales and/or customer service experience in an industrial setting
  • Familiarity with valves, flow control equipment, or related products is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • High motivation to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Comfortable handling multiple communication channels in a busy office setting
  • Ability to comprehend technical specifications and communicate them clearly
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and professionalism under pressure
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent technical background/experience
  • Prior use of ERP/MRP systems is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment, valve sizing, and application is a plus
  • Background in HVAC is a plus
  • Permanent work authorization in the U.S. required
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
