8+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on technical platforms or infrastructure
5+ years in roles involving security, developer tooling, or platform engineering
Experience withAgile methodologiesand tools likeJira, Confluence, or Aha!
Deep understanding ofapplication and infrastructure security principles, includingzero trust architecture,threat modeling, andsecure SDLC
Familiarity withidentity and access management (IAM),encryption standards,audit logging, andcompliance frameworks(e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST)
Experience implementingdeveloper experience platforms, includingCI/CD pipelines,internal developer portals, andtoolchain integrations
Knowledge ofDevSecOps practicesand integrating security into developer workflows
Understanding ofAPI security,secrets management, andruntime protection
Familiarity withdeveloper productivity metrics,feedback loops, andDX research methodologies
Experience working withcloud-native environments(e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS/GCP/Azure)
Ability to drive adoption ofsecure coding practices,code scanning tools, andvulnerability management
Technical Skills & Domain Expertise:
Deep understanding ofapplication and infrastructure security principles, includingzero trust architecture,threat modeling, andsecure SDLC
Experience withidentity and access management (IAM),role-based access control (RBAC),OAuth2/OIDC, andSAML
Knowledge ofencryption standards(AES, RSA, TLS),key management systems(e.g., AWS KMS, HashiCorp Vault)
Familiarity withaudit logging,SIEM tools(e.g., Splunk, Datadog, ELK), andsecurity incident response workflows
Experience withcompliance frameworkssuch asSOC 2,ISO 27001,NIST,HIPAA, andGDPR
Hands-on experience withvulnerability management,static/dynamic code analysis tools(e.g., Snyk, Veracode, SonarQube)
Understanding ofcontainer security(e.g., Aqua, Prisma Cloud),runtime protection, andnetwork segmentation
Impact You'll Make:
Technical Product Management plays a critical role at TransUnion as the conduit between our Sales, Solutions, and Engineering organizations.
Our Solutions team define the “what and why” requirements and the TPM role partners with Solutions and Engineering on defining and executing the “how” technical requirements.
Product/Platform Strategy & Roadmap: Define and maintain the vision and roadmap for product/platform capabilities (e.g., Credit, Marketing, Fraud / APIs, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, developer tools).
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to understand needs and translate them into platform features.
Technical Requirements: Gather and prioritize technical requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability needs.
Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of product/platform features - from ideation to launch

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Benefits:

Pay Scale Information :
The U.S. base salary range for this position is $126,700.00 - $190,000.00 annually.TransUnion's Internal Job Title:
